THE GATEWAY TO THE GOOD LIFE
DESTINATION | NATURE | FOOD | CULTURE
Peer down on the breathtaking natural landscape of Phuket and the surrounding islands with a captivating journey offering a bird’s-eye view of towering sea cliffs, lush mangroves, coastal jungle and pristine beaches.
Paddle through a tranquil scenic bay surrounded by dramatic limestone escarpments. When the tide is right, hidden sea-caves emerge offering access to secret tidal lagoons that are open to the elements, yet hidden from the outside world by the sheer cliff faces on all sides.
Si Phang Nga National Park
This expansive tropical jungle to the north of Phuket is the largest remaining natural rainforest in southern Thailand and is protected by National Park status. Guests will find numerous hiking opportunities through dense evergreen landscapes and discover picturesque waterfalls and diverse species of wildlife along the leafy, woodland trails.
Sailing and luxury yacht charters
Sail around the picturesque Phuket coastline or embark on an exploration of the breathtaking islands of the Andaman Sea, with pristine beaches, colourful reefs, sea caves and hidden lagoons just waiting to be discovered.
Snorkeling and diving
With some of the most beautiful dive sites in the world and excellent visibility in the warm azure waters, guests can explore exciting underwater worlds with diverse species of colorful marine life.
Historic Phuket old town
Discover a wealth of cultural treasures hidden among the narrow historic streets, where ornate shrines and temples, colonial-style mansions and Chinese shophouses beautifully preserve a rich cultural heritage alongside a thriving scene of boutique shops, cafés and authentic local restaurants.
Tu Kab Khao
Right in the middle of the Old Town, this beautifully restored home serves refined southern Thai dishes in a stylish environment that celebrates the traditional Phuket lifestyle – from the blue shutters on the ornately carved exterior and the intricate patterns on the blue-tiled floors, to the exquisite tableware, this is a perfect backdrop for the delicious spicy local cuisine.
Accompany your meal with an inventive mixed Baba-Nyonya cocktail, or try the island's only local craft beer Cha La Wan, which is made in a brewery on the west coast.
Royale Nam Tok
By day, this is a Belgian couple’s private pool villa, but as the sun goes down it becomes one of the island's best fine dining European restaurants. Your hosts are Corry Ringoet and Marc De Schriyver, who shipped their entire décor from their former restaurant in Antwerp, while the menu is French with Asian flourishes, such as the wonderful parrot fish in saffron sauce.
In such an intimate setting, it makes little sense to order off the menu. Instead, put it down and place your trust in the Belgian co-owners to select the perfect evening's dining for you.
Ka Jok See
From the outside, this unassuming Sino-Portuguese shop-house on the outer edge of the old town hardly warrants a second glance, however the enigmatic Ka Jok See is one of Phuket’s most popular restaurants of all time. Promoted almost entirely through word of mouth, the restaurant sparks into life on a Friday and Saturday night serving a fixed price menu of family sharing-style Thai dishes with flamboyant cabaret entertainment late into the evening.
